Takayama Day 2
Today we only had a few hours before we were due to leave for Shirakawago. We had bus tickets for around 12, and decided we could fit in a few hours eating down at the market and seeing some more of the sights.
As we mainly wandered around Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine that morning, I will sum it all up with a few shots;

The dog theme from the previous day - continued! A dog with a sarubobo riding it!
Yep, this is probably the cutest dog I have ever seen
During our wander, there were loads of local schoolkids obviously on an excursion, and they were super cute;
A real live Tanuki - or a raccoon dog stuffed!! Frightening!
A cat cafe - we never ended up going inside, would love to know what it's like!
A cigarette butt bin - with some words of warning!
